Aquence™ Paint Line for Coating Automotive Seat Frames
With numerous installations across North America, Aquence™-based paint systems built here at DEYCO, Inc. set the industry standard for quality and performance. We have engineered and built systems for small companies as well as some of the largest and most prestigious manufacturers in the automotive industry. The conveyorized system highlighted here represents the type of job we specialize in and would have in progress on a regular basis.
We were awarded this contract because of our strong reputation for quality workmanship, our ability to meet critical project timelines, and our favorable cost profile for a major capital acquisition. Built for a leading integrated manufacturer of automotive seating systems, this paint line was designed to promote quality and cost-effectiveness on their production line. This system consists of a 7-stage Aquence™ paint line for coating seat frames and incorporates 10,000 gallon dip tanks.
To ensure the integrity of the process stream, we constructed the system on-site at our facility, with the exception of the oven. After we completed the construction, we executed a robust set of acceptance test protocols to ensure the equipment operated at the required specifications. We employed a specialized heavy-haul carrier to transport the equipment to Mexico for installation at the company site.
Our exceptional project management skills played a major role in this project, as we do in all of our builds. This enables us to consistently meet deadlines and keep tight control over costs.
